1. What inspired you to become a CrossFit coach?

I have always loved teaching, and the most valuable part of teaching is watching people implement what you've shown them. Helping people is something that has always been close to my heart, and CrossFit is something I'm passionate about. It made sense to bring the two together through coaching.

2. What is your favorite CrossFit movement or workout, and why?

My favorite movement is the Squat Clean. To me, there is nothing cooler than picking up a heavy weight and front squatting it after a huge pull from the ground! My favorite workout is Murph because the workout represents so much more than 45-60 minutes of work; it shows how fallen heroes still have a role in impacting us today.

3. What is one piece of advice you would give to someone new to CrossFit?

Take it slow, and don't judge yourself based on what you see going on around you. I tried pushing too hard, too fast, and hurt myself. Let the movements and the strength come in their time. They will come. Just be patient in the meantime.
